With Catherine Tate as Donna Noble, Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones, John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness and Billie Piper as Rose Tyler.

The central character was (and still is) a friendly, mysterious time-space traveling alien who calls himself 'the Doctor'. He journeys through time-space in a craft called the TARDIS.
